GYOPO invites you to attend our 7th Annual Chuseok Benefit Fundraiser, presented by CJ, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1 to 4 PM PDT, hosted by Mia Locks and Samie Kim Falvey in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. This year’s GYOPO Chuseok honoree is actor and producer Steven Yeun. Our event will be emceed by journalist SuChin Pak. Join us in celebrating the interconnectedness of GYOPO supporters, collaborators, friends, and family.

Since its founding in 2017, GYOPO has championed the exploration of issues surrounding contemporary art, culture, networks, intersectionality, and social justice through free public programming and community alliances. In our space in Koreatown, across the city of Los Angeles, and abroad, we facilitate artist presentations, lectures, conversations, screenings, exhibitions, and social gatherings that inspire greater artistic, cultural, and political exchange.

Chuseok is a celebration of the harvest season and a time to gather our resources, take stock, and prepare for the road ahead. We are grateful to have the opportunity to do this with our supporters, whose financial contributions ensure that our public programming is always free and accessible to an intergenerational and socio-economically diverse audience.

Secure your ticket now, for a festive, family-friendly affair, with food by Jason Kim of Forage, drinks by Kikori Whiskey, Yobo, Kish Apértif, Us Two Tea, Flojo, arts activities by drawwing cabinet and ssi ya gi, speeches, and much more. Your presence and support are invaluable to fulfilling GYOPO’s mission!

Tickets are $450/single, $750/pair, and $350 each for three or more (the price of each ticket minus $100 is your tax-deductible donation amount). Ticket prices will be raised 2 weeks prior to the event, so secure your seat today.
